Will Black
Counselor
Will is a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate (LPCC) and Addictions
Counseling Candidate (ACC). He earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling from Regis University and completed a clinical internship at Spero
Recovery Center in Evergreen, serving in-patient adults in early stages of recovery from
substance abuse disorders. Will continued his trainings and completed the Licensed
Addictions Counselor program at Odyssey Training Center. He opened his private practice and worked at Eating Recovery Center in Denver. Will’s areas of therapeutic focus include substance use, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, life-transitions, trauma and school-related issues.

Will has actively facilitated public yoga and mindfulness-based classes throughout the
Denver metro since 2019. He uses a holistic approach integrating evidence-based
treatment modalities including ACT, DBT, IFS, Motivational Interviewing, CBT, EFFT,
and Family Systems.

Will’s work leads from the belief that regardless of circumstance, healing and
transformations are possible. He believes in trusting relationships, where clients and
therapists work together collaboratively to facilitate meaningful change.
Will lives in Evergreen and is grateful to be part of this intimate community.
