Board Member

Laurie is originally from Ohio, and spent her twenties working as a traveling physical therapist throughout the country, as well as serving with several medical missions abroad. She eventually settled in Colorado, and has lived in Evergreen since 1996. She and her husband have raised three children in this community, all graduating from Evergreen High School, her youngest in the class of 2026. She has always been passionate about how the mind impacts physical health and healing, and over the years began to gravitate towards education/prevention around youth mental health and wellness. Laurie has been very involved with PTSA, SAC, her church youth group, and proudly served the last several years as R1220 school liaison to EHS. "The mission and work of Resilience 1220 align deeply with my long-held belief in the importance of helping young people build a mentally strong foundation, in which to support a flourishing life"
