Kari Read

Kari grew up in Minnesota and moved out to the mountains of Colorado shortly after finishing her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Luther College. She spent many years as a camp counselor, youth director, ski instructor, raft guide and world traveler. She has also been the director of a non-profit agency, loves community support and organizing events. She is a mother of 3 daughters and loves being in the woods, playing, laughing and listening.

She is currently a LSW and LCSW candidate. She graduated from Luther College with a BSW in 2001 and again graduated from the University of Denver and received her MSW degree with honors in 2021. Before opening Peace In Bloom, she worked as a ski and snowboard instructor, backpack guide, raft guide, camp counselor and English teacher in South Korea.She believes that everyone needs a listening ear and a caring person to connect with throughout life. She works hard to develop connections and support that can help you reach your goals. She loves helping young people and families find their voice, power and place in this world. The world is large and the adventures are many. Let's find your place!!
