Justin Shulz
Board Member
Justin is a senior-level psychologist with an extensive background in creating and delivering innovative psychological and consultation services in a variety of healthcare and corporate settings and has served as board chair of Jefferson County Mental Health and of the Workforce Development Board of the TriCounty Region. Justin holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. In addition to many years in private practice, Justin worked at Human Affairs International, Denver General Hospital, StorageTek, and volunteered at the Mental Health Association of Colorado providing organizational consulting services to the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and Urban Peak. Justin also served on the faculty of University of Denver, Regis University, and Webster University. Additionally, he was a license examiner for the Board of Psychology Examiners and was a contractor with the Board of Dental Examiners to create and manage their Doctor’s program and over the years has conducted numerous professional training workshops and has 20 professional publications. As for personal achievements, Justin received the Colorado Behavioral Health Council’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 and the Disabled American Veterans National Service Award in 1981 for creating a Vietnam-era veteran outreach program that became a model for outreach services nationwide.
