Jenny Madison

Counselor

Life can feel overwhelming sometimes. Our brains can get stuck replaying hard things from the past or worrying about what might happen next. Jenny helps kids, teens, and adults learn how to slow down, feel more present, and gain confidence in handling their thoughts and emotions.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Jenny has experience working in community mental health, crisis management, runaway/homeless youth, and with foster care and adoption populations. She understands how big life transitions, trauma, and uncertainty can impact individuals and families, and strives to create a space that feels steady, safe, and supportive.

Jenny uses evidence-based approaches such as DBT, ACT, CBT, IFS, and trauma-focused therapies. With children, she employs play-based techniques like Theraplay and Sandtray to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural and comfortable. When working with couples and families, she incorporates Gottman relationship skills to strengthen communication and connection.

Whether in-office, online, or immersed in nature, Jenny’’s sessions are casual, interactive, and welcoming. She fosters a judgment-free environment where everyone’s voice is heard, respected, and valued.
