Counselor

Sometimes life can be exciting, but sometimes life can be overwhelming and confusing. Stressful times can often lead to feelings of anxiety and depression, causing withdrawal or acting out behaviors. We can feel alone in our experience and like no one understands. It might be hard to see how things will get better.

I would like to support you in your journey toward healing and feeling better. As a Child and Family Therapist, I have worked extensively with children, young adults, families, and trauma survivors through difficult times and within a variety of settings, such as the home, schools, day treatment, and wilderness and adventure therapy programs. Together, we can work through tough emotions and break patterns of thinking or behavior that may not be serving you. We can explore relationships, family dynamics, and outside stressors that may be affecting your self-esteem and preventing you from being your best self. We can find coping strategies that will work for you and build a support system to help you achieve your goals outside of therapy.

I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive, and judgement-free space to feel heard. Whether online, in the office, or in nature, my sessions are casual and interactive. I use a strength-based approach, along with mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients to gain self-awareness and discover their inner strength.
