Do you feel sad, stressed out, overwhelmed or stuck in your day to day life? Do you feel disconnected from loved ones? Life can be painful and difficult. Sometimes we feel that we have no control over what is happening around us. I would like to help you build on your strengths and guide you in finding your way. I have success with decreasing depression, anxiety and stress. Taking the first step toward getting the help you need is often difficult. I look forward to meeting with you so we can help you create the life that will bring you feelings of connection and fulfillment.
I specialize in anxiety, grief, life transitions, depression, caregiver stress, relationship issues, women's issues and college stress. By utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Short-Term Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness, we work together to help you rediscover your innate ability to grow from a difficult life experience and rediscover joy.
Probably the most outstanding qualities clients report that I bring to my practice are deep compassion and a good sense of humor. Therapy is much more enjoyable and comfortable then most people imagine. My work is to help you find balance and peace in your life.
